Nucor Corporation manufactures and sells steel products. Principal steel products are hot-rolled steel (angles, rounds, flats, channels, sheet, wide-flange beams, pilings, billets, blooms and beam blanks), cold-rolled steel, cold finished steel, steel joists and joist girders, steel deck, steel fasteners and steel grinding balls. Nucor is the largest recycler in the United States. Nucor and affiliates are manufacturers of steel products, with operating facilities in fourteen states.
Producers of metal products including carbon steel, piping, snowplows, structural rebar, sheet metal, and wiring. Most of the products, as evidenced by the name, involve steel and iron components or ingredients. Their products are used in an enormous number of industries including automotive, appliance, construction, and welding. Since they are manufacturers, their revenue derives from the sales of the products they make, but since steel and iron are used in so many areas, their products are in demand in many different fields and locations.
